Senior Medical Device Software Engineer

Vivonics, Inc. is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Software Engineer to lead medical device research and product development focusing on non-invasive monitoring applications.  The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for leading software development efforts from proof of concept through clinical evaluation on select government-funded projects.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for spearheading software development under medical device design controls in the area of non-invasive physiological monitoring, personal health monitoring, and mobile health applications.  The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of software life cycle management including specification development, architecture design, risk analysis, coding, verification and validation, and bug tracking. The candidate will also contribute by mentoring other team members in software development.

Principal Investigator – Electronics for Medical Devices

Vivonics, Inc. has a unique opportunity for a creative principal investigator (PI)/ electrical engineer to lead proposal efforts and provide technical direction for government-funded medical device product development efforts.

The PI is responsible for technical business development support, and providing leadership of the company‘s technology development in electronics design for non-invasive medical monitoring applications. This position is responsible for developing creative solutions to significant unmet medical needs in the Vivonics focus area, developing government proposals to fund technology development and providing technical leadership to funded projects. As a member of the senior technical staff, the PI plays an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth.

Vivonics, Inc. is seeking an experienced, creative, hands-on Senior Systems Electrical Engineer to lead medical device research and product development focusing on non-invasive monitoring applications. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading electronics development efforts from proof of concept through clinical evaluation on select government-funded projects.

The Senior Systems Electrical Engineer will be responsible for spearheading analog and digital electronics development under medical device design controls in the area of non-invasive physiological monitoring, personal health monitoring, and mobile health applications. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of product design including specification development, architecture design, schematic capture and layout, PCB assembly, risk analysis, test method development, verification and validation, and manufacturing. The candidate will also contribute by mentoring other team members.
