Diabetic Neuropathy Care

Vivonics is developing technologies focused at assessing risk of and providing prophylactic treatment to mitigate formation of diabetic ulceration on the plantar surface for patients with diabetic neuropathy.

Diabetic foot ulceration is caused by multiple factors including loading on the foot, local environment created by diabetic footwear and underlying vulnerability of diabetic patients due to neuropathy and impaired circulation. 

Vivonics is developing technology to improve the monitoring of pressure, shear and localized temperature for at-risk patients along with therapeutic cooling which is believed to reduce ulceration.
